Anti-Racism
At St Francis de Sales, all children are taught that everyone is made in the image of God and, therefore, to be treated equally; with love and respect.
We value the individuality of all of our children and are committed to giving them every opportunity to achieve the highest of standards. We do this by taking account of pupils’ varied experiences and needs. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum, that extends the children’s experiences and have high expectations of all children. The achievements, attitudes and well-being of all our children matter.
St Francis de Sales is actively an anti-racist school. We have been recognised for our commitment to stand up against all forms of racism.
It is never too early to talk to your child about race, diversity, acceptance and equality. To begin and support these conversations, please see the selection of resources below that you may find helpful.
