School Meals
At St Francis de Sales children can choose to have a hot school lunch or bring in a packed lunch from home. The hot meal service which is available to all children is provided by Olive Dining.
If your child wishes to change from school dinners to packed lunches and vice versa, you must notify the school office in writing, giving a half term’s notice. Children must stay on the same meal pattern - packed lunch or school dinners for the whole week, not both. Meal patterns cannot be changed daily as the kitchen requires notice.
Autumn Term
How to order school dinners
Please notify the school office in writing, giving a half term’s notice that your child wishes to have school dinners. Meals must be paid for in advance.
We are a cashless school therefore you will need to pay for school meals using a very secure website called ParentPay. Those wishing to pay in cash should contact the school office to request the option of paying via PayPoint at local stores.
Free School Meals
The School receives additional funding based on the number of students with free school meals called ‘Pupil Premium’. We use this extra money to improve the educational provision and resources at the school. We get an extra £1,320 for every eligible pupil who is registered for free school meals. This extra money could make a real difference to the quality of education we offer. It therefore benefits all students if families who are eligible do apply, even if they choose not to take up the offer of free school meal. Please contact Miss Keenan if you think your child might be eligible for free school meals and have not yet registered.
